White House exterior: Interior tour must be arranged well in advance.*
Lincoln, Vietnam, Korean, and the WWII Memorials


Day 2 - Focus: Branches of Government and Balance of Powers
Supreme Court Tour
Capitol Hill Tour: Optional VIP tour and photos with your Congressman or a member of their staff.*
National Archives: Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, and the Constitution
Smithsonian Air and Space Museum
Holocaust Museum
Jefferson and FDR Memorials


Day 3 - Focus: “Freedom Is Not Free”
Arlington Cemetery: Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Kennedy Gravesites, Space Shuttle Memorials
Iwo Jima Memorial
Old Town Alexandria

* Must be arranged by each school.

- This itinerary can be modified using the following: National Cathedral, Embassy Row, Udvar Hazy Air & Space Museum (new), more Smithsonian time, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, National Zoo (Panda stop), Kennedy Center, Georgetown – C&O Canal, or Pentagon.

- Lunches are usually scheduled at food courts in Union Station, the Old Post Office, the Reagan Building, and Pentagon City Mall.
