Ireland - Celtic Lands

Day 1
Depart the US.
Days 2
Arrive in Dublin, Ireland and check into our centrally located hotel. Afternoon walking tour and free time.
Day 3
While doing our best to avoid stepping on Leprechauns, today will bring visits to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Trinity College where the Book of Kells, is on display. We’ll spend another night in Dublin hoping to spot rainbows and stray pots of gold!
Day 4
Today we’ll head towards Cork via Kilkenny, the creative heart of Ireland. On our journey, we’ll take some time to enjoy the Medieval streets, castle, rose garden. Overnight Cork.
Day 5
Today will be spent in Ireland’s second city, Cork. We’ll visit the Blarney Castle, one of Ireland's oldest and most historic castles. Get ready to pucker up and kiss the Blarney Stone for good luck. We’ll also have a chance to visit the Queenstown Story Museum, which will provide rich insight into Ireland’s past. We’ll spend the night in Cork.
Day 6, 7
Our final two days will include a whirlwind of activities including the Ring of Kerry, traveling along the coast and viewing the Atlantic Ocean and Macgillycuddy’s Reek (Ireland’s tallest mountains) Bog Village, and a visit to the 15th century Bunratty Castle (standing on the site of an ancient Viking trading camp).
Day 8
After an unforgettable journey through the land of the Celts, we’ll transfer to Shannon and depart for home.
